Aching legs and big grins in the North Pennines

The North Kent Downs. A landscape of chalk grasslands, ancient woodlands, dry valleys and agricultural farmland. A area in constant flux. Inextricably linked to this place, my past and present are interwoven in the fabric of the land.

Frosts settled, clouds passed, puddles froze and thawed. It was a reminded of just how much is happening if you take the time to stop and notice the details, to recognise the rhythms again.

Venturing down South back in 2018 I helped to shoot promo Images for ISEN’s new bike, the All Season.

You never know where inspiration might come from, but simply being curious and actively engaging with people can only lead to positive outcomes.

Rays of light soon became diffused but not before a harmonious moment of shivelight in the mist…
